"I am an independent consultant focusing on projects in the food industry generally but with particular specialism in dairy production.

"My previous role was Group General Manager - Projects for a UK based plc and was personally responsible for managing c.£100m of strategic investment in cheese, whey processing, cream process and packing, liquid dairy, automated warehousing and cheese pre-packing projects over a ten year period to 2010. This role also involved rationalisation of facilities and factory closures as well as capital investment decisions in process equipment, services, control systems and buildings.

"Prior to this, I was General Manager of several large dairy operational sites across the country leading the cost and quality agenda and developing each site's performance to remain competitive.

"I am based in the UK but have overseas experience".

In 2016 Brian Eddy was honoured with membership of the Guild of Cheese Graders and La Guilde Internationale des Fromagers.
